Astrology

Astrology is a belief system that suggests a relationship between the positions and movements of celestial bodies—such as planets, stars, and the moon—and events or characteristics in human life. Practitioners of astrology, known as astrologers, analyze these celestial positions at specific times, particularly the time of a person’s birth, to interpret influences on personality, behavior, and potential future events. Central to astrology is the zodiac, a circle of twelve signs corresponding to specific constellations, each associated with different traits and influences. Astrology is often used for personal insight, guidance, and forecasting. Although it has ancient roots and has been practiced in various forms across cultures, astrology is generally considered a pseudoscience due to the lack of empirical evidence supporting its claims.
